I've made notes on the case and the alibis. Lemme go get my notes...
Damien - there's at least 2 different stories of where he was on the 5th. One story is that he was with Jason until about 6, then went home and talked on the phone with 2 girls until after 10. Another story is that he went with his family to some friends of his parents but the friends had gone to the casino. When the casino records were pulled, the friends had gone on the 9th, not the 5th.
Jason - this is a copy paste of my notes. It's pretty straightforward, unlike Damien's so I'm not even going to paraphrase:
*Dennis Dent (Jason’s Mother’s live-in) basically corroborated this story as he was at home through all of this, but his interview was basically incoherent and unbelievable to me.
3:40 – Jason gets off bus with brother Matthew
4:30 – Jason left with Ken per Matthew. He didn’t see Damien
4:30 – Jason got to Great Uncle’s house to mow per Herbert Bartouch
6:30 – Jason left Bartouch’s house. He remembers because he knows what game shows were on. Said Jason told him he was going to Wal-Mart to play video games.
7 – 7:30 – Jason came in with Ken per Matthew. He still didn’t see Damien
8:20 – Jason and Ken left to go to Adam’s per Matthew
9:00 – Ken left to go home per Matthew. Det didn’t ask when time Jason and Ken came back to Jason’s.
Jessie - Again, straight copy/paste from my notes. I can't find anything past 6:30 for him except a statement saying he went to Dyess to wrestle; however, the receipt from the wrestling ring was for the 3rd, not the 5th.
12:30 – Ricky Wayne Deese states Jessie worked for him roofing a house until 12:30. He then left (presumably to go home).
1 – 1:30 – Deese goes to MissKelley’s home to get him to come back to job site, but father says he had already left to go to Stephanie Dollar’s home.
1:30 – Was with Josh Darby roofing a house until 1:30. Saw him again about 3:30 and he was with his girlfriend. (2nd statement)
2:30 – Was with Josh Darby roofing a house until 2:30. Went home with Jessie and had sandwiches. Jessie goes to get girlfriend at some point. (1st statement)
2:30 – Went to Stephanie Dollar’s home to watch her children. I believe it was in Susie Brewer’s statement that she was there with him.
3:30 – Met Susie Brewer and was with her until 7:10 or 7:20 when she watch him walk to another friend’s to see if he wanted to go to Dyess with him.
5:30 – Jessie goes over to Darby’s house (1st statement). Jessie goes to Darby’s house by himself (no girlfriend) and stays about 15 minutes (2nd statement)
6:30 – Charles Ashley Jr stated Jessie was with him watching a “scene” at a neighbor’s house involving the police.
6:30 – Stephanie Dollar stated Jessie was talking to a police officer about a scene at a neighbor’s house.
That's all I have. I'm a fence-sitter, too. I think my butt's grown to it as I can't seem to fall completely off one way or another. I just sway a lot.
