Slicks team is racing to help local dad find his son
For Slicks team, real goal of Fireball Run is to help local dad find his son

Jane Hunter and her partner Slick, owner of Slicks Garage, never met Alexander Matthew Erb-Sanchez.

Nor have they met his father, Bradley Erb.

Yet the pair has been on the couple’s minds.

Alexander, who turned 3 last July, is missing, allegedly taken in November 2008 by Erb’s ex-wife, Micaela Sanchez Vasquez, the child’s biological mother, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

He’s the reason they’re participating in “The 2010 Fireball Run Adventurally — The Race to Recover America’s Missing Children.”

4 years later, authorities continue search for missing Ellenton boy

It was every parent's nightmare.

In the midst of a custody battle over their 1-year-old son, Bradley Erb arrived at his estranged wife's home in Ellenton on Nov. 7, 2008, for court-ordered visitation with Alexander Erb-Sanchez. No one answered the door.

Four years later, the search for Alexander, now 5, with brown eyes, auburn hair and a birthmark on his lower back, continues.
