N.J. Governor Resigns, Admits He Is Gay

TRENTON, N.J. - In a stunning announcement, Gov. James E. McGreevey announced his resignation Thursday and acknowledged that he had an extramarital affair with another man. "My truth is that I am a gay American," he said.

I heard about this on the radio today. In addition to setting up house with his lover, he made him the Homeland Security Aide for New Jersey with a nice salary of $110K/year. The real kick in the pants is this guy (the lover) couldn't even qualify for a security clearance!

Although its unfortunate that the Gov. and his Security Aid got caught up in this, his wife is deserving of sympathy.
