    Thank you.

I just checked the missing persons list for Washington State, and there's over 2000...so I need to narrow it down a bit.

Susan Powell sprung immediately to mind, because Cle Elum is a town you'd drive through between Puyallup and Salt Lake City -- although much closer to Puyallup. But for those who think the body could have been hidden by a famly member (after a transfer), this find may seem interesting.

Nothing new on the news yet, although they've added images showing two tents. Looks like an archaeology dig.

According to the Washington State missing persons list, there are only two female missing persons cases being investigated by Kittikas County (the county Cle Elum is located in):

Teresa Marie Walcom, 16, missing since Aug 14th, 2010.

Jessica Dawn Barrett (Marie), 17, missing since May 15, 2010.

The remains found are being described as skeletal, according to this report in the Ellensburg, WA newspaper.

Could they be basing the female id on there being a bra found? One scary thought is did LB wear one?

Investigators say it will take days before they finish up their work at the crime scene. They'll also be looking for more evidence and trying to determine whether they should start looking for more bodies.

Suncadia is a sprawling 6,400-acre property filled with golf courses, spas and more than 400 homes.

According to the National Center for Missing & Exploited children, female, 10-18, there are 20 listed

Prominent cases of women missing from the area, Shantina Smiley, Rachael Anderson, Nancy Moyer and Susan Powell.

Charley, Doe or NAMPN have very few females from within 100 miles of Cle Elum.

Yakima is about 60 miles from Cle Elum, but I can only find 1 female from Yakima:

    Julia Lynn Moranda

There is also Cherry Ann Greenman.

Waterville is about 85 miles from Cle Elum, but her case goes way back to 1976.

Do you guys ever stop and think how often remains are found just by a fluke -- i.e. by a hunter who just happens to be in some remote woods, by a bulldozer working on something, in a yard where a pool is being dug, by a dog that brings home a bone, by a fisherman, etc..............

this part at the link always get me mad

The body was found with clothes on. Detectives tell us there is no indication of foul play

    a fluke?
There are far to many examples, for it to be a fluke.
For there are many that want to come home.
And sometimes, we are there only way.

To fish here, hunt this way, dig here, swim here.

The young couple, experience car trouble after a long journey.
the man gets out and inspects the engine.
The woman gets out and leans against the guard rail for some fresh air.
As she glances below, she sees the little girl that has been missing for the past ten years, laying in the same spot for all those years.
The little girl, just wanted a ride home!

I mention the above, to always remind people, that when you go out on searches, remember the one your looking for, is not necessarily the one your going to find.
For there are others, who want to come home to.
