I was browsing Namus and the LSUFaces Lab webpage and came across this unidentified person and think she may be a match to Debra Jean Asbury.

She was found in December 1994 in Tullulah, LA (off I-20). The height and age are a little off, but the dates line up. There are also similarities in the facial structure.

What do you think?

James Marlowe is Debra's brother and the oldest of her nine siblings. Every week since their sister went missing, they take turns calling police.

"And if we don't call them we are there up at the police station. Every week, every two weeks, somebody is always calling them, what do you know?," said Hunt.

"They still tell us the same thing. It's like they told us the same thing just a week ago, 19 years ago," said Marlowe.

"Family to hold balloon release Saturday for missing woman"

http://www.the-dispatch.com/article/20150924/NEWS/150929896/1005/news?Title=Family-to-hold-balloon-release-Saturday-for-missing-woman

“We are just trying to raise awareness on her case, not only her case, but other missing people in the State of North Carolina and around the world,” said Melissa Salmeron, Asbury’s younger sister. “Her case has been going on for 21 years now.”

Salmeron said every day the family wishes Asbury would come home. She still doesn’t know what happened for her sister to go missing. Asbury disappeared at the age of 27.

“I’ll always live with the hope that she’s alive, but in my heart, no,” Salmeron said.

I don't see her ruled out as a match of this UID found in Onslow County, NC in December of 1995:

Debra's daughter has been active in promoting that her mother's case be kept in the news but it's very hard so many years having gone by. She got my attention by speaking out about the lack of attention to her mom's case so I downloaded her mom's poster and I share it every so often-the found WS thread here.
