Paraguay breaks up child *advertiser censored* ring inside prison/film sets found

I hope to high heck that the fellows at Avenel or McNeil Island don't get wind of this. Explain to me how the "sets" were missed and why the prisoners had access to so much equipment.

"Authorities Friday broke up a child *advertiser censored* ring that made sexually explicit films inside the national penitentiary with youths who passed as relatives of inmates, prosecutors said.

Prosecutor Teresa Martinez said two inmates and a third person who was on parole were implicated in the ring.

"In two cellbocks there were sets where explicit sex was filmed. There were machines and connections to download them to the Internet. They had film and digital cameras," Martinez said.

"The actors came and went as relatives of the inmates," she said.

"...The prison's director said computer systems used in the prison were set to block all but educational information, but he acknowledged that inmates could have penetrated the system's security codes...."

This is ludicrous. I wonder which guards are now rich? I am very happy they are prosecuting these pigs! I hope they can account for the children and their whereabouts!

um, yeah, and one other thing - why do prisoners have internet at all? I don't care if it's set to block all but educational sites - they can bloody well learn from books like I did before the internet came along

I always understood that any prision you went to, that when you were visiting a inmate you sat in a room with all the other inmates and familys designed for visitations, not in their cells/housing area, how did they get people into cells and noone noticed, sounds like some nice gaurds/warden ect were benifiting from it
