New Details To Emerge In Anthony Case
Audio, Images To Be RelEased; Defense Questions Lab

On Tuesday morning, the state attorney's office will release a pair of CDs filled with audio interviews and pictures.
Local 6 plans to pick up the files and begin reporting on their contents starting at noon.
While those files are being released, Anthony's defense team will be in Tennessee, interviewing scientists from the Oak Ridge Lab.

OT: Waiting for more medical tests to come back..still having many problems with my immune system & infections! I'm recovering from 2 surgeries that I had last week as well! Still having trouble with my blood counts & fighting many infections..keep getting one after another! :( Please keep sending me positive energy & your prayers that I get on the road to being as healthy as I can be! I just want my 24/7 pain of dealing with my severe fibromyalgia again! Casey Anthony evidence: Pictures, audio interviews are being released today

The information will be released Tuesday morning at Orange-Osceola State Attorney Lawson Lamar's office, according to spokeswoman Danielle Tavernier.

"Because of various types of digital media formats, the information is contained only on disc and copies can only be made on disc," Tavernier said in a statement announcing the release of the records.

She later said the information on the discs to be released includes audio interviews and photos.

Scientists at the Body Farm put together a 41-page report for investigators on the Casey Anthony case.

WFTV-Ch. 9&#8217;s Kathi Belich said that volunteer Joe Jordan told investigators that his team &#8220;never fully searched the woods&#8221; because it was knee-deep in water.

And WKMG-Ch. 6&#8217;s Mike DeForest quoted yet another volunteer searcher, Jennifer Conaway, who said the woods were so flooded in August 2008 that it was impossible to walk through the spot. (Caylee&#8217;s remains were found in December 2008.)

DeForest explained, &#8220;If true, that might hurt the defense&#8217;s theory that Caylee Anthony&#8217;s body was placed there months after her disappearance.&#8221;

Some of the information released contains interviews with members of TES.


Among the evidence released were original photos taken of Casey and Caylee. Caylee is wearing a T-shirt that investigators said is similar to one found with the child's remains.


New photos of a color analysis of Casey's car trunk were also part of the evidence released.


Anthony defense team interviewed Equusearch volunteers who searched the area near Suburban Drive where Caylee's remains were found.


Several audio recordings of investigative interviews were also released.

Caylee went missing summer of 2008. The time line is critical to the defense, who will argue that Caylee's body was placed in that area while Casey was in jail.

The defense team has raised the question of whether Caylee's remains were at the site where they were found in late 2008 when Casey was in custody and could not have placed the body there.

Jordan was among the people who searched that general location, but he emphasized that he thought his search was 40 or 50 feet away from where the remains were ultimately found.

Jordan also made a secretly recorded tape while he was interviewed by a Anthony defense investigator.

He later turned the illegal recording over to law enforcement.

The investigators urge Jordan not to destroy or delete the recording and also tell him that he broke the law in making the recording.

"Joe, you broke the law when you did it," one of the detectives tells him. "Don't break another one by destroying it...We just don't want you to get rid of it because it is evidentiary."

Jordan said he made the recording for his own notes.

"We should have all just stayed out of this and let you guys do your job,"

The investigators also expressed concern about another searcher who had contacted Jordan and the possibility that TES forms had been fabricated.

Jordan said a woman named Laura Buchanan had contacted him and told him they had searched together, but he said he could not remember her.

Jordan said Buchanan told him, "I'm working with Baez's office. They just want you to come in and talk to them about what you saw when you searched on Suburban Drive."

Jordan said he told her, "I don't know who you are. I said, 'Do me a favor and don't call me anymore.'"

Casey Anthony: New photos, video and audio released as evidence

Another group of photos appeared to be from a search for Caylee’s body by a group that included bounty hunter Leonard Padilla in 2008.

Pictures were also released from Padilla's search for Caylee at Blanchard Park.

Also included is an interview with Lisa Hoffman of Texas EquuSearch who spent four days in the Anthony home.

"I witnessed a map on the kitchen table and Tim and Cindy were looking at it," Hoffman said.

Hoffman said Tim Miller, the leader of Texas EquuSearch was upset because Casey backed out of a promise to mark the map with where they could find Caylee.

Also included with that group of photos were two videos showing Joy Wray, a Seminole County woman who had closely followed the Casey Anthony case online.

The videos, taken in May and June 2009, showed Wray leaving a memorial sign, flowers and small trinkets at the site where Caylee’s body was found.

"We're putting a butterfly on there because Caylee was like a butterfly," Wray said.

The latest documents also show that Anthony's investigator was following a tip that Caylee was in Puerto Rico and that Cindy Anthony became irate when the search for a "dead" child began.

Meanwhile Casey Anthony’s defense team is in Knoxville, TN at the "Body Farm" to question the scientists who say a human body was likely in the trunk of Anthony's car.

The new records show, in August 2008, Chatt and Morales were offering to sell their photos and their stories. Chatt, who was at Caylee's second birthday party at her house, was offered $1,000 for his photos.

Morales, Casey's ex-boyfriend, was driving a hard bargain, making sure he didn't lose out on the $1,500 for his, plus $50 extra for quotes and 50-percent of the profits from the world rights to the photos.

Kealing highlighted the comments of volunteer Joe Jordan, who searched the area with a policeman and a policeman&#8217;s dog &#8212; and the dog wasn&#8217;t allowed to go through the water.

Jordan also said another search volunteer was working for defense attorney Jose Baez&#8217;s law firm.

WFTV-Ch. 9&#8217;s Kathi Belich highlighted that the Orange County Sheriff&#8217;s Office is &#8220;looking at allegations that someone claiming to work for the defense, after volunteering for Texas EquuSearch, might have fabricated a document about the search in the woods.&#8221;

Belich said that Jose Baez, who was in Tennessee conducting depositions with scientists at the Body Farm, denied the allegation.
