Circumstances of Disappearance
Zeta Gordon disappeared after she left the family's home the night of October 4, 1992, following an argument.
Two of her three children found her car on a lot near an abandoned farmhouse west of town the next day, with the engine running and the radio on. A purse and a suitcase were in the vehicle.

Not really any new info, the story is worded a little differently. But it does say her husband divorced her in 1994, remarried in 1997, & committed suicide in 1998. Speculation of his involvement remains speculation.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Zeta and her family and friends this holiday season.

Bumping for Zeta...it's now 27 years.

A northeast Kansas woman vanished decades ago, and her case remains a mystery to this day.

Zeta Gordon was last seen on the night of Oct. 4, 1992, in Atchison. According to case records, she was leaving her family's home after an argument. The next day, her son and daughter found her white convertible on a lot near an abandoned farmhouse west of town. The vehicle’s top was down, keys in the ignition and the radio was left on; her suitcase and purse were also in the vehicle, a Feb. 1998 article in The Belleville Telescope details.

Though she’s believed to be dead, some people said they saw her in the Kansas City-area days after she disappeared, newspapers reported. Investigators have said foul play was suspected. “Nobody has been eliminated as a suspect, including [her husband] Dr. Gordon,” Kansas Bureau of Investigation Sgt. Bill DeLaney then told the Atchison Daily Globe. Zeta’s husband, dentist Wayne Gordon, died by suicide less than six years after she was reported missing.
