Angela "LaLa" Pettifer was found in her apartment raped, strangled and blinded by hot sauce which covered her face, head and sheets.
Charged is a Registered Sex Offender who lived in her apartment building. Michael Benjamin. Witnesses said they saw Ms. Pettifer fumbling for her keys and apparently intoxicated when Benjamin approached and told them he was "unofficial security", and he proceeded to "help" Angela Pettifer. Later other witnesses saw Benjamin who was sweating and extremely nervous.
Police found a bottle of Franks Hot Cayenne Pepper in the sex offender's apaprtment which was consistent with the sauce used to blind Ms. Pettifer. In the past benjamin assaulted a 7 year old girl he told to come in his apaprtment and help him plant a seed. Another child he took on a motorcycle and told her to watch him urinate. Offenses for grabbing young girls in a public swimming pool.
