This was on Nancy Grace tonight.
Wife #1 he was married to for 30 years, 3 children.
She died after a fall from a stairway.
Wife #2 he was married to for 7 years no children.
She died in a 'staged aurto accident'.
Her blood found in the garage by the stairs.
While married, he was engaged to his secretary.
The secretarie's husband killed himself ???? in ministers office.
Everything is being investigated now.

Wow! Amazing how someone can feel they are this far 'above the law', except that he should know better than most, that you can't escape the ultimate judgement! I am thankful this man now has to face charges!

I'm a minister's wife and would love to see a photo of this guy.....geez....

I wonder if he also was involved in the suicide of girlfriends husband.

I wonder if he also was involved in the suicide of girlfriends husband.

On NG they had mentioned that.
Also to see if the preacher misused his counseling to make the man kill himself.
Something makes me think preacher may of been involved in more crimes.
Real womanizer :banghead:

JVM is covering this case tonight
could he be a serial killer?????
Niece of man that did suicide is on now.
She is relieved that they are investigating preacher.
She believes he killed wife 1.
GF and minister are still 'in love' even with him behind bars.
Preacher did marriage counseling to GF and suicide man.
Suppose to help the couple while he was having an affair with the secretary!!!!
Phycopath according to Michelle Golland.

Preacher never called 911.
Airbag never deeployed.
He was driving 20 miles an hour in wife #2.
wife #2 playing a game to see how long she could keep her seatbelt off before it dinged???
750 pounds of force to wife's head......like swinging a baseball bat!
wife #1 injuries not consisant with a fall down the stairs.
Pat Brown said check VERY CAREFULLY if man was a suicide.
Neice says that Uncle's suicide has been reopened.
after break we will find out what happened to wife #2 body........

suicide...no drugs, no note
preacher and man were fighting on phone......

wife #2 CREMATED....no evidence now.

perfect smoke screen to be a preacher!

uncle was going to tell head of church about preacher the next day!
Motive for preacher to kill man........

Passionflower, thanks for all the info about this case. I was actually at prayer meeting when JVM came on tonight! This pastor would certainly hold some responsibility for having an affair with the wife of the couple he was counseling, even if none of these other things had happened. How sad. I'm amazed at the level of support he seems to have at this point. I'm especially surprised to hear that the suicide victim's wife is still crazy about this "pastor!"

I wonder if there have been other suspicious suicides related to this church or to this man.

I also wonder why the pastor's wishes were followed concerning cremation if there were so many things that didn't add up after the staged car accident. I'm not clear, was there a full autopsy or not?

TANNERSVILLE, Pa. January 31, 2012 (AP)

The death of the first wife of a Pennsylvania pastor charged with killing his second wife is now also classified as a homicide, authorities said.

Arthur Schirmer, 63, former pastor of Reeders United Methodist Church in Jackson Township, is awaiting trial in northeastern Pennsylvania in the July 2008 death of his second wife, Betty Jean.

The 1999 death of his first wife, Jewel Schirmer, was originally said to be "undetermined," but the cause of death was amended earlier this month by the deputy coroner in Dauphin County, where she died at a hospital, according to the Pocono Record (http://bit.ly/xIyIGy). The couple lived in neighboring Lebanon County at the time.

Another strange twist:

In late October 2008, church member Joseph Musante, 50, of Reeders, committed suicide in Reeders United Methodist Church. Police gathered information that Schirmer had been involved in an affair with Musante's wife, a church employee at the time, and that Schirmer's previous wife had died under questionable circumstances.

Sounds like Arthur might have 'a way' with people who get in his way ...

imo
