PA - Rehab Nurse Calls 911 Gets Herself Busted
A Registered Nurse from Eagleville Rehab has been arrested on serious charges. The DA is now investigating the hospital.
Shannon Zimmerman called 911 for help for her girlfriend. O.K. the girlfriend is a former patient of Eagleville. That's a no-no. Zimmerman explained her girlfriend shot heroin and coke and she was concerned for her safety. Cops saw a pipe and other paraphanalia and Zimmerman admitted her girlfriend was not the only one shooting drugs.
O.K. they found the heroin and coke, but they also found throusands of pills that came from the hospital. Anti-depressants, pain killers etc.
Just a note again this can happen to anyone. However, when it's someone who is dispensing medication for you in detox and they are taking it themselves well man that gets people real angry. No doubt some poor heroin addict kicking was crying they didn't get their methadone and this woman took it.
**Ya know I have to say at least this woman called for help for her girlfriend. She had to have worried it could have gotten her caught. So often we read where an addict just left someone they cared for to die for fear of getting caught themselves. Maybe a subconcious cry for help?"

Have to wonder was that all before she went to rehab or not? I hate seeing that. Young girl.
Three short years ago this young lady was on the honor role at her school.

Before calling 911 Shannon Zimmerman drove to Eagleville rehab facility and asked a Nurse Practioner for nitro glycerin pills for her grandmom who was in the car with chest pains.
Zimmerman did have her grandmom in the car presumably but placed the nitro glycerin pills under the tongue of Gerold.
Eight months Ms. Gerold was in the rehab facility and at this time her and Shannon Zimmerman became romantically involved. That's straight up bad medical ethics right there.

Eagleville is supposed to be a very good hospital & I was under the impression that their program was tough (I know Gia Carangi was a patient there)The saints are the sinners who keep trying...

Yes, Eagleville is an excellent rehab facility. As my friend who went there said "It was sort of a vacation it was so nice". She was helped and has many years in clean.
Hey, it can happen to anyone. The relationship between patient and Nurse though was a warning sign. Hoping she didn't short people out of their methadone. I've seen that as well. Some addict screaming they didn't get their dose and here someone who works in the facility took it.
At least they are both alive. Hoping they get the help they need and not too many people were hurt by this.
