The Benton Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating 39-year-old Joe Lee Richards, Jr.

Richards was last seen on the night of October 8 at his home in Benton and has not been seen since. He has not been in contact with family or friends, and has not shown up for work since the 8th.

Anyone with information regarding Joe Lee Richards, Jr. is encouraged to contact the Benton Police Department at 501-778-1171 or 501-315-TIPS.

Benton police are seeking the public’s help in locating Joe Lee Richards Jr., the youngest son of Alderman Joe Lee Richards.

Richards Jr., 39, was last seen the night of Oct. 8 at his residence in Benton, police said. He has not been in contact with family or friends since and has not been to his place of work.

Richards' father joined police in asking that anyone with information on his son's whereabouts call the police department at 778-1171 or 315-TIPS.

A man is missing in Benton. It's been nearly four weeks since anyone has seen Joey Richards, but this isn't just a normal missing person's case.

The reason why this is all so strange is that Joey's car was found with the keys still in it. His wallet was left untouched in the front cab. This has Joey's dad thinking the worst.

Saline County prosecutors have charged a Benton resident with capital murder and kidnapping in connection with the discovery of two bodies at a Traskwood home last month.

Jay Beeson is accused in the death of 53-year-old Randal Anderson, whose body was found near the remains of 39-year-old Joe Lee Richards Jr. at a house on Oct. 5. Richards was the son of Benton alderman Joe Lee Richards Sr.

Marissa Wright has been charged with two counts of capital murder in the case.
