Just got a tweet requesting assistance in finding this monster.
Prayers for this little girl who underwent surgery that she gets everything she needs for her physical, mental & spiritual recovery.
A Milwaukee police official on Thursday asked for the public's help in finding a 36-year-old man charged with the brutal sexual assault of a 9-year-old girl, saying the man is "a monster (who) needs to be removed from the streets of Milwaukee and the United States as well."
Thomas Thornhill, wanted by Milwaukee WI LE
Capt. James Shepard said the case has been a priority since the girl was found bleeding profusely and sobbing in a north side alley on the morning of Jan. 22, suffering from life-threatening injuries after she was taken from her bed, carried into a van and assaulted.
The suspect, Thomas Thornhill of Milwaukee, was charged with 15 counts last month in connection with the girl's assault and with the violent sexual assault of a woman in 2008 based in part on DNA evidence that linked him to both crimes.
Thornhill became the prime suspect in the girl's assault after police identified his voice on a voice mail that the victim in the 2008 assault was leaving on another person's phone when she was attacked.
Thornhill may have left Milwaukee after police began focusing on him, but investigators suspect he is back in the city, Shepard said. A warrant for Thornhill's arrest was issued when he was charged.
