New Documents Expected In Case Against Casey

Sometime Tuesday morning, WFTV expects to receive hundreds of new documents in the Case against Casey Anthony.
Eyewitness News was told the discovery documents will include more jailhouse letters sent to Casey. WFTV.com will post the new documents as soon as they are received.

The document release included more letters written by and to Anthony while she has been in the Orange County Jail, but the bulk of the pages included the Anthony family's bank records from around the time that Caylee Anthony disappeared. Detectives subpoenaed the records early on the the investigation so they could understand the family's background.
The documents also include information that reveals that investigators traced every phone call to and from Anthony's family, including their home phone and all of their cell phones. Investigators placed tracking devices on cars belonging to her parents, George and Cindy Anthony, her brother, Lee Anthony, and her boyfriend at the time, Anthony Lazzaro.

Cindy Anthony’s mother shared the e-mails with Orange County deputies. In early 2009, Cindy also complained to sheriff’s authorities about an obscene phone call. In the call, a man said a friend — a former convict – would take the blame for the Caylee’s disappearance, Cook said.
