Scalding this little boy's face! what is up w/ scalding kids the past few weeks??

And as I interpreted this, the little boy was born while Robinson was in jail...he's never met his son before, but mom drops him off for a week's visit -- and it doesn't turn out OK.

Please let me know if I got this all wrong.

The victim's mother, who was not identified in a Collier County Sheriff's Office report, told deputies that the 29-year-old father Robinson agreed to take care of the boy at Robinson's apartment for a week in October, according to a Naples Daily News report.

The woman said Robinson had not previously met the child because the boy was born while Robinson was in jail.

According to reports, when the boy's mother checked up on him on Oct. 29, she noticed severe burns on his face.

:doh:Wait. You got it right TM, but it's even worse. When mom came back after doing whatever it was she had to do she "stayed" with the guy for three more days? She took care of the burns herself?

O.K. she claims he threatened her, but something is way wrong here.

Poor child. Scalding is the worse. Years of surgeries. What in heaven's name would cause you to purposely scald a child?

And on his little face??? :(

What's the deal the last week or so -- there was the monster who poured the water on the little girl's face as she slept, then the dad whose babies died from scalding water-- one w/ only burns on the face...now this one!

It really seems like their trying to obliterate them...this is like something from a horror movie.

This is happening too many times, when found guilty they should be boiled in oil!I am just disgusted WTF is going on in this world!Part of the problem is that some woman lay down with thugs, and keep getting pregnant with anything that has a penis. This mother has some explaining to do IMO.

November 2010:

She has never been arrested before the current case, and she lives in Collier County, her attorney, John McGowan emphasized.

McGowan also reiterated Robinson's alleged role in the case, saying he was abusive to Hughes. He noted that his client is a licensed nurse for Physicians Regional Medical Center and said her early treatment of the boy, while in Robinson's home, ensured his survival.

When finally taken to Lee Memorial Hospital on Nov. 2, the child was immediately transferred to a children's hospital in Tampa.

He has since been released, McGowan said, and is recovering in state care.

At least two inmates told sheriff’s investigators that they saw Robinson strike Cpl. Caudill with a radio.
