By the time paramedics reached the east Bakersfield home of James Johnson Wednesday morning, his 34-day-old son, Jordan, didn't have a heartbeat.

Doctors at Kern Medical Center noticed a third-degree burn on the boy's legs and buttocks and broken limbs.
...................
Johnson couldn't explain why his son was not taken to a hospital or how he could have received broken bones.

"I don't know how that could happen," he said. "I don't know how in the world that could happen."
..................
Court documents indicate he has pending domestic violence cases with two of the women and a hearing over back child support.
..................
"This doesn't sound like my son James," the senior Johnson said. "We're still trying to get to the bottom of this."

more here - including CPS involvement in this family & wanting a "safe place" for the children to live.

:RIP, baby Jordan: Feel no pain & fly with the angels now.

Another great example of why we need to work together to change how CPS fails our children.RIP baby Jordan I am so very sorry your short life was filled with pain.

RIP little Jordan. Why would they allow this baby to go home with these people after their two children were removed? How sad!
