Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) – A Las Vegas teacher is the focus of a missing person's case after failing to show up for work for several days in a row.

Administrators at Molasky Middle School called the Las Vegas Metro Police Department, and the principal has notified parents.

With few details to go on, many are concerned. It's been days since anyone has heard from Mary Beth Franta.

Not a lot to work with here....

Police seek help in search for missing Las Vegas woman, 49

Metro Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 49-year-old Las Vegas school teacher missing since Saturday.

Mary Beth Franta left her home about 7 p.m. Saturday in the 4300 block of Cranbrook Circle, near Torrey Pines Drive and Harmon Avenue, and didn't return, police said. She was driving a gray 2002 Mazda Tribute sport utility vehicle with Nevada license plate 236TAA.

I checked a number of her friends/family on FB and didn't see any reference to her being missing.

???

I didn't either and not even from the people who appear to be family or adult children.

Does she have a husband?
Children at home?
Where was she going when she left the house at 7pm?
Who reported her missing? Co workers? Or a husband/roommate?
Her cell phone?
Her bank accounts?
If she went to a wedding and dropped off friends after, then should be a clear route from that last home to her home.
Security cameras?

Why no interviews with friends, co workers, family?
No FB page. ?

Hopefully there will be more tomorrow.

Outside the family home on Cranbrook Circle, Franta's son explained off-camera they are expecting grim news. He asked for privacy, because the family fears its loved one may be gone forever. 8 News NOW has learned a dumped body found Sunday behind an Albertson's supermarket on Craig and Tenaya could be that of Mary Beth Franta. Police call that death suspicious but haven't yet made a positive identification.

Strange (at least for my neck of the woods) that the only report of a body being found behind Albertson's is 8 News article posted above and that all other news reports state that she is still missing.

Here is a map showing the Franta home and the location of the Albertson's... http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=U...43,-115.242119&spn=0.245543,0.417824&t=h&z=12 They are approximately 10 miles apart and is pretty much a direct shot from her home up Rainbow Boulevard.

According to some reports, she left her home at 7pm on Sat 11/13 and that was the last time she was seen. Other reports are that she dropped friends off after a wedding and that was teh last that she was seen.

If the latter is true, where did she drop these friends off at? Would the Albertson's have been enroute to her home from that location?

Where is her vehicle? Did she possibly get carjacked, after dropping off her friends?
