LAS CRUCES - The public is asked to help find a Hatch man who has been missing for more than two weeks.

The family of Henry Apodaca, 56, reported him missing and said his disappearance is very unusual, according to the Do-a Ana Sheriff's Office. A close friend who is usually in regular contact has also not heard from Apodaca, the sheriff's office said.

Apodaca, who did not take his truck with him, is described as being 5-feet 4-inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds, with salt and pepper hair and a mustache.

His family says he has not been diagnosed with depression and would be unlikely to hurt himself intentionally.

Anyone with any information on Apodaca's whereabouts is urged to contact investigators Lee Medina or Ben Venable at (575) 647-6991.
