PA - Priest Accused Of Molesting A Minor Relieved Of Duties
The Archdiocese Of Philadelphia has said that Reverend William Ayres has been taken from his duties concerning allegations he molested a minor while in the seminary.
Father Ayres aged 39 served two Parishes, St. Michael's and Immaculate Conception in Philadelphia presently. These are both historicly older Parishes. Beautiful Churches. My mom attended one of them growing up.
Father Ayres other assignments are listed and frankly two of them are cause for concern.
Prayers for the minor and the Parishoners of these two Churches. Special prayers that there's no other young people that have been hurt.

Just wanted to share. This is a link to Saint Michael's. They are celebrating 180 years.
The Immaculate. It doesn't look anything like the drawing obviously. It's smack up against the EL and in the shadow literally of I-95.

Why wasn't he arrested instead of being sent to a retirement facility to reside with other sexual predators who were sent there by the church? Why is the church allowed to cover up and hide these predators? I've always wondered about this
