CA - Bryson Lukacik, 22, Big Bear, 27 Nov 2010
Bryson’s father stated that he left the home on foot and was walking on Balsam toward Bear Mountain. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, black gloves, a blue pull over sweater with Mickey Mouse on the front and blue shoes. Bryson is from the San Diego area and family members believe that he may be attempting to return home.
He may be wearing a blue pullover with a Mickey Mouse character. He has a tattoo on his chest that reads "Forever Forgiven".
Lukacik suffers from bi-polar disorder and does not have his medication with him, according the release. He does not have a cell phone or a car and he does not have friends in the Big Bear area.

I hope he made it off the mountain. The temps for the last few nights have been well below freezing, and there is snow on the ground.

RUNNING SPRINGS, Calif. (KABC) -- A 22-year-old man has gone missing in the San Bernardino mountains after apparently injuring his head while skiing with his family over the Thanksgiving weekend.

Very concerned for this young man...
Just wondering why his family did not seek some help when he hurt himself skiing? Of course, he may have refused to go along with such a suggestion.

Santee man vanishes; major search Thursday

BIG BEAR LAKE — Friends and relatives of a 22-year-old Santee resident who disappeared into the cold wearing only a sweater and jeans Thanksgiving weekend will be joined by members of the Big Bear community Thursday to continue searching for the man, who may be suffering from a head injury.

SAN DIEGO -- A San Diego man reported missing at Big Bear last weekend was found dead Friday morning near where he and his family had been vacationing.

Such a sad case. Wonder if he died as a result of head injuries? So sorry for this family.

Joe Lukacik of Santee said that it appeared his son, Bryson Lukacik, had been trying to get into another cabin and that snow from the roof fell on top of him. “He basically froze to death in the snow,” his father said.

SO sad to read this tonight...how horrible for this poor boy to have died that way. I cannot imagine the pain his parents must be feeling.
