**Snipped** - Like a hurricane, the damage spread outward from the center, a kitchen in a house on Hollis Avenue, where an 8-year-old boy sat on the floor wiping up his dead mother’s blood. On Feb. 7, 1990, a jury convicted MG of entering the Pettibone residence and beating Tressa Pettibone senseless, binding her hands and stabbing her three times in the neck. Eight of 12 jurors recommended the death penalty, which is what the judge gave him.

I lived in PC during this time and vaguely remember the brutal murder of this woman. Where is the justice in some of these cases? I am reminded of ICA and the possible years of appeals. It really makes one wonder which corner of the law justice stands in. I just couldn't imagine being an 8 yr old and having to deal with this horrible tragedy. It's good he has tried to move on with his life, but does someone really "move on" after something like this??

My thoughts and prayers go out to this family. May justice be service swiftly.
