It's been hinted that mom may have had substance abuse issues.

What we are doing is just a drop in the ocean.
But if that drop was not in the ocean,
I think the ocean would be less because of that missing drop.

I want to know too Linda.. either that was info NOT supposed to be released or the reporter really screwed up some facts. it was kinda detailed so my guess is, it wasn't supposed to be released.

Here is the artcle and a section snipped by me:

"Patrol responds by like 3:30 p.m. and they're there from 3:30 to 4:15 or so," Harris said. The family was told to go to HPD's station on Mykawa Road to file an official missing child report with the juvenile division. Officers there entered details about Jonathan into the national crime information center database about 9:30 p.m., Harris said. He explained that the decision to hold off issuing an Amber Alert for Jonathan until Tuesday evening was a deliberate strategy by investigators.
Police knew that without a vehicle type or suspect description, a vague alert would generate a flood of information, some of it potentially useful, but much of it simply overwhelming, he said."

I may be way off base with this but maybe SD had company over to smoke crack ( or some use some other substance) and the kid was gonna tell his mom.

They are so sweet. I do hope you will reach out for help. This is so hard for an adult. I can't imagine the toll it will take on your babies.
