"Miller said investigators were looking through other missing children’s cases to see if they might be connected to Nelson, but so far, they’ve found none.

"Do I believe she’s done it before? Yeah, I do. I don’t believe she began and ended with the abduction of Jonathan Foster," Miller said." <snipped>

Nelson was arrested yesterday in the murder of Jonathan Foster. Because LE has made this statement that she may have killed before, we're creating this thread for sleuthing.

Please discuss Jonathan Foster's case on threads that are dedicated specifically to that case and not in this thread. This thread is for sleuthing other crimes. :tyou:

Check out this old thread too. Oh my gosh - what if?

That thread has a sketch that is interesting and says the perp has tatoos. Do we know if Mona has tatoos?

Just going with the flow here - haven't caught up after taking 3 hours away. This from the old thread titled Serial Killer in Houston?

WOW it's possible because eyewitness sketches are not always exact and i see some differences and some similarities! And we know (no offense meant at all I'm not beauty queen) she could easily pass for male if she chose too!

FYI...they have had a suspect in custody in one of the acres home killings for some time already.....dont have a link handy at this time other than i'm a houston resident who is a news junkie

I have nothing concrete but I would like to look at this person first:

MAP OF LOCATION OF BODY FOUND TO MN HOUSE:

This case I posted the map of, has my gut because in the presser the police stated that she worked for real estate. That tells me she would know some areas, if she did maintenance lets say on a house for sale for a real estate company, she would know of an abandon house.

Do you remember which victim it was so we can start eliminating possible victims? Google may become one of our best friends in short order.

What I really want to know is her past known address, where she has lived. My thinking is if she killed it would be someone near where she lived. I don't have the tools to look that up. Did a quick info white pages look up but came up empty

Oh my goodness there appears to be a few cold cases as described in this recent article:

In a city with 5,695 unsolved homicides on the books dating to 1960, Houston police have assembled a team of five experienced detectives to form a cold case squad to deal with the daunting backlog. Working in a wing of the homicide division on the sixth floor of police headquarters downtown, the squad pores over hundreds of case files in hopes of finding unnoticed leads or untested evidence that can breathe new life into an old homicide investigation.

This is my thinking and it is only speculation but she was born in 1966 correct? <modsnip>. Now lets just say she was raped as a young girl like 12 years old. Could she have killed as a young teen of around 12 to 18 years old as her first kill? Killers usually kill their first victim very close to where they live.

I know a lot of presumptions here but I think if we can start by learning where she grew up, and then searching any missing or unsolved cases in that area is a good place to start.

Hope its alright to say this. With MNs appearance if there are other victims or witnesses its quite possible she could be mistaken as a man. May be something to keep in mind. JMO
