I, too, would like to poll the women involved with these men and find out how active they really are.

Men do love to brag and I can see these 75 year olds at the clubhouse or pool talking about their latest conquests just like they were teenagers. OMG.
Actually, I find it rather amusing. If they can stay active at that age, more power to them. It just gives me something to look forward too. :floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Oh I don't think they are lying at all and I bet their spouses or partners are smiling too and walking around pretty darn happy..

It is a known fact that having sex makes people have a better outlook on life and makes them healthier too.

I remember when my grandmother was in the nursing home........Oh my gosh if it wasn't the men trying to have sex with some of the women there.........it was the elderly women creeping into some man's room and into their beds. The nurses had to watch them all like a hawk.:floorlaugh:

So I say good for them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know about 75-95 year old men ..YET.... But I do know about my 64 year old hubby and there ain't nothing wrong with the boy, I tell ya! Everything works just fine!

:innocent: I am in my 50's, hubby is older; things just keep getting better and better. Without being too graphic, sex becomes more about making love and less about following the lead of our hormones-----
 
Who are these men having sex with? Most old women around age 80 aren't interested in sex and unless they're wealthy most younger women wouldn't be interested in them. Maybe there are less male widows than female ones, so they have plenty of women to choose from?
 
I have to but in, now we all know if it wasn't for that little blue pill that most men of that age would still be impotent. Until that pill was invented most men above the age of 70 or younger would think there sexual drive had ceased to exist. Thanks to scientist they no longer have to wonder however, they have yet to invent a pill for women. Oh well, I guess acting still works.

It is not true that most older men would be impotent without that little blue pill.

It is estimated that only 1/3 of older men have issues with impotence.

Older women who want to increase their libido also have pills available to help them......like testosterone (cream or pills), DHEA, and many, many herbal remedies.
 
Well, I can't speak for the 75 - 85 age group, but as a 43 year-old woman I can tell you my attitude towards sex hasn't changed since I first had sex. I didn't like or enjoy it then, and I still don't. I can't, for the life of me, understand why so many people nowadays seem to be obsessed with it. It's been at least four years since my husband has approached me for it, and you can't imagine how relieved that has made me. Maybe I'm just weird.

It also doesn't give us any medical background on the participants of the study.

I read this as a slow news day so let's see what we can stir up with as little details as possible.

No reason in my mind why people that age (male and female) wouldn't want to have sex. If they do they do, if they dont' they don't.

To be honest I think that our culture (american) is geared almost exclusively towards youth.

I've met and have spoken with young women that who are aghast that women in their 40's and 50's still have sex. Seriously LOL. Crack my butt up. I'm not their Mom so it's not my responsibility to educate them. LOL. Can you believe that carp though? What they need to know is some do---some don't and most of the time it doesn't have to with age but with individuals.

Unfortunately, testosterone does more than increase libido. I know a woman almost 80 years old who's riding roller coasters! I anticipate she's going to have an accident-- feeling years younger is not necessarily a good thing. jmo

Hey, I'm gonna believe it based on these Senior Citizen groups I hear about. I told my Grandmom it's like y'all regressed back to teen years. They sort of do and I don't mean that in a disrespectful way.

Also at those ages men are a commodity. Those widows get a gander at one widower comes to bowling or Church or Seniors group and all bets are off.

My SIL told me how she stopped by her 79 year old mom's house to find her on the porch on a swing holding Mr. Greene's hand. A few weeks later my SIL asked how he was and her mom reported "I broke up with him. He only wanted one thing and I am no hussy". What????????????? Mr. Greene is 82 years old. I'm thinking "He only wanted one thing? What? Prune juice?" Nope he wanted to do it. Plus they met at their Catholic Church group.

Hey go for it men. Just leave me out of it when I get that age.

Why do they do that? Sorry off topic, but that happens to me. A friend would say something to me about whoever and I'd be like "Who? I slept with them? I don't even know who that person is". It's either that or I'm Sybill.
