Now that DNA testing is more sophisticated, I wonder if the DNA for Baby Hope and Baby Faith can be re-tested. It's hard to believe there is no connection between these two infants.

In a statement about Baby Faith, found in Larimer County, it says that plans are underway to resubmit evidence for DNA analysis in the event that modern DNA analysis and comparisons with national databases may aid in the identification of both girls (Baby Faith and Baby Hope).

    Baby Faith and Baby Hope

Two newborn baby girls found dead in Fort Collins and Pueblo were not identical twins, authorities said test results show.

DNA tests conducted by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation ruled out the possibility the babies were identical twins, officials said Tuesday.

Investigators said additional tests will be conducted to determine whether the infants, posthumously named Baby Faith and Baby Hope, could be fraternal twins.

I think this was some bazaar coincidence. Pueblo is in southern Colorado and Fort Collins is in northern Colorado. If these babies are related, the only scenario that would make sense to me would be the mother or parents passing through Colorado and dumping the babies at different times.

Anyone else get horrifying images of a car moving down the back roads with two girls in labor?
