Police found two year old Gage Koelliker unresponsive on Friday evening. It has been determined the poor little guy was murdered.

A 24 year old man who has yet to be named is being questioned.

Police reportedly arrested 24-year-old Antonio West in connection with a drug investigation. Koelliker and his mother, Heather, were reportedly staying at West's home.

West is charged with felony delivery of a controlled substance and is being held on $60,000 bond. They're also questioning him about Koelliker's death. No charges have been filed, though.

July 2011:

An ongoing case in the death of a 1-year-old has landed the child’s mother on probation while authorities continue to investigate the incident.

Heather J. Koelliker, 25, stood crying in front of Buchanan County Circuit Judge Daniel Kellogg on Tuesday morning as he sentenced her to four years probation for using drugs on the night of the death of her son Gage.

Having pleaded guilty to child endangerment, Ms. Koelliker recounted the Jan. 13 and 14 incident where she took two Lortab tablets, smoked marijuana and ate cereal with her boyfriend, Antonio L. West, before falling asleep and later awaking to find her son dead.
