Alcala married with biological kids ?

Wonder if he was ever married and/or had biological kids. Hope not. I think I read that serial killer Ted Bundy has a biological daughter.

I just wonder if any of the tiny kids are his or related to him.

Not that we know of. I don't think it's been reported anything about a wife or children. At the time he was arrested he had a girlfriend. I have no idea if she has children who could be his.

But he used some aliases and who knows, we don't know everything about his life.

I'm not talking about RA's alleged girlfriend cause I don't know anything about her, but generally many times in other convicted serial killers cases I don't understand how their wives and/or girlfriends had no idea that their man was a sick/pervert/murderer..etc ... Most of the times the victims family and friend don't believe the serial killers wives/girlfriend did not know.

Rodney Alcal was investigated by Steve Hodel, retired LA detective and author of The Black Dahlia. Along with many other investigators, he was able to put together a reliable base for facts about his life. Speculation about his having a shack in the woods, a wife and children, an accomplice, and that a number of the women in the photographs are males in drag takes us pretty far afield of those known facts and I think may be more distracting than illuminating. A link to Squad Room Blog can be found here. I have found Mr. Hodel's articles and book very fascinating.

    Thanks for that Redbird.

Steve Hodel said that? I'm not the only one then. I am still swearing that funky colored shirt girl standing between two trees is a male.

No, Steve Hodel didn't say that. Sorry my comment was so hard to understand. Posters have said that. Steve Hodel was assigned to Alcala's case from the time of his first attack. He interviewed him then. He did not discover any accomplices, cabins in the woods, wives and children, males posing s females. I think these speculations are pretty far out there and way far removed from the facts we have.

I haven't read the book so I'm not going to comment on Hodel's and other investigative work. But I will be reading the articles and books.

But before I read the book I just want to say that I think that there are things about people that one can never find out. Like how many kids someone has unless the names are registered. Women sometimes leave the father blank. A pervert like Alcala problably had some along the way unless its proven that he's sterile all his life. Some people consider themselves married without the documents. He could have had a commonlaw wife and kid stashed some place. Alcala could have lived in a shack and gave his apt address? Back in the hippie era I understood that there were people who built themselves shacks in the woods. Shacks aren't registered. Only the LE knows for sure if some are pics are cross dressers.. Alcala probably did away with some of his accomplish. A ******* like RA anything is possible.

I believe the book Redbird was referring to was The Black Dahlia. There is currently a book being written by Alcala but Hodel didn't write one.

And, I'm in agreement that speculating wild and outrageous things about this case doesn't help anyone. What would it matter if Alcala did have children? If one can't take the expert advice of a man (Hodel) who did investigations for a living for decades, what is the purpose of brainstorming? As I said in another thread, no one even knows which of the photos (if any) are of missing persons.
My book, More Than Just A Pretty Face, about the unidentified photos of Rodney Alcala, will be published in 2017. Please visit and join my Facebook group to get all of the most recent information.

I think some of these kids are related to Alcala maybe even his own. Maybe some girlfriends with their own kids. Maybe thats why the LE says that they are not confirming who they have positively identified.

I can tell you from first hand knowledge that he has no wife/ex-wife or children making contact with him in prison.

Perry, who was dubbed the "Velvet Hammer" by tweeters,
went on to say that he believed there was sufficient evidence to sustain a
    first-degree murder conviction
    .

"Justice has been served in the sense that the jury has spoken but justice will
finally be served one day by the Judge of
judges," Perry said during the morning show.
"And she's going to live, deal with this for
    the rest of her life."

    RIP Caylee Marie

Some kids are adopted since their mother worked as escort/john and got pregnant accidentally and doesn't know whose this belongs to. Too many men. Some men do intention by giving it to someone on purpose and walk out. It happens all the time everywhere. Who knows Rodney might be bio father. All men/women have secret life.

Not me. I have to get one.

Just wanted to agree that the speculation about this guy can really get skewed. Hey, we now know things he actually did that are so horrific they seem unbelievable.

Also as far as a person's father? That's why I was told to always trace heritage through your mother. Not only could Alcala have or not have had children, but do we truly know who HIS father was? No. We only have his mother's word on that.

This guy I doubt was a "shack" type of dude. Too b*l*sy for that. He didn't need a secret shack.

As for the funky shirt person can I please just think that was a guy?

I think the chances of him having offspring would be most closely related to how many of his fertile-age victims he left alive after he finished with them, especially those he raped in the era before abortion and the Pill became easily available and widely accepted. I don't think he has any kids he knows about, no way would he not be shoving his status as a father at the courts trying to get some advantage out of it.

    BINGO!!!
Impossible to say how many kids that pervert fathered. Even if hiis victims became pregnant and knew he was the sperm donor they would have stayed away from him. Doubt that he'd be walking around with condoms, or practicing any methods of birth control.
