Diddy sued for $1 trillion, blamed for 9/11

um. Yeah. What Carbuff said.

lol @ you got a point, at least her theory is a bit more straightline than many I've heard. Its no less crazy for that tho.

On a more serious note, it is really sad to me that the legal system must get bogged down with BS suits that so obviously have zero in the way of merit. Too bad there isn't some way to keep suits like this from even being filed.

Presumably at the hearing, the judge will dismiss it with prejudice.

Agreed, but that has already wasted too much of the courts valuable time and resources IMO.

She actually found an attorney who would file this lawsuit for her?

not only should it be laughed out of court, the taxpayers should file on her for wasting their hard-earned money on a frivolous suit

oh and she should be charged with public mischief or something

In most courts, filing a frivolous lawsuit is not without consequences. Penalties, fees, and costs can be assessed against both her and her attorney for and wasting everybody's time. Since the attorney is supposed to have presented a viable case, he can be subject to professional sanctions for incompetency. Under some circumstances can be held in contempt of court, though that's less likely.

I am editing this post, it was useless here... but I hope that you are able to hear my roaring laughter where ever you are in the world.

I wasn't sure if I should post this in here or in the celebrity news thread - but omg - people are sooo wierd. New York, Jan 29 (ANI): A woman from Los Angeles has reportedly filed a 1- trillion-dollar lawsuit against music mogul Diddy, claiming that he is responsible for the September 11 attacks. http://ca.news.yahoo.com/diddy-sued-1-trillion-blamed-9-11-20110129-022927-119.html

and stole a chip from her in a Vegas casino and is her baby daddy.

Is anyone besides me more concerned over an attorney who would take this type of case than the petitioner?
