    FL - Michelle Dubois, 36, Orlando, 07.Feb.2011

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Orange County Sheriff's Office said it is looking for a missing 36-year-old Orlando woman. Michelle Dubois was last seen by her husband when he left their home on Nela Avenue to take their children to day care on Monday morning. When he returned 45 minutes, Dubois was gone, deputies said. After searching areas she was known to frequent, Dubois' husband eventually notified the Sheriff's Office of her disappearance.

Deputies were called to a home on Nela Avenue about 6 p.m. Monday by the husband of Michelle Dubois. Dubois' husband told investigators that he had left the couple's home about 9:45 a.m. to take their children to day care.
When he returned about 45 minutes later, he said his wife was gone. Deputies said the man searched for his wife in places she frequented, but was unable to find her. Deputies also searched the area, but had no success in locating Dubois.
As of about 8 p.m. tonight, deputies said Dubois was still missing. Dubois was last seen wearing a pink sweatshirt and light blue sweatpants.
Deputies said their investigation is ongoing, and they have not found any indications of foul play.

So the husband waited 7 1/2 hours to notify LE...? Hmmm.

    I agree, Belimom. That's a long wait.

Some questions that I hope we will have answers to shortly:

After he discovered she was missing, did he call friends and family trying to locate her?
Did he always take the children to daycare, or did Michelle?
Were he and Michelle employed, self-employed or unemployed?
If he was employed, why was he at home yesterday?
Did the children see their mother in the morning, before they left for daycare?
When he left the home, did he lock the door?
Was anything missing from the home? Money? Jewelry? Important papers?
Was her cell phone still at home, her keys, her purse?

    So many questions ...

measured by how they regard animals.

And if he had the day off WHY did he take the kids to daycare? I mean apparently he had time to search for her most of the day...............

I don't either! Reminds me of Scott Peterson and that Powell dude.

Noting that he took the kids to daycare, while he had a day off, isn't that odd to me. I did that a time or two when my son was younger, just to get a rest or stuff done around the house. For that I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

OTOH, what were his plans for the day? Golfing or fishin?

Her husband, Chris Dubois, said he is worried sick."I'm very concerned. We love her very much. We miss her, and if she can see this: come home," Chris Dubois said. "I thought maybe she had gone for a walk, but noticed her wallet here, all her credit cards, her phone, her keys."Michelle also doesn't have medication she needs. Her husband said the couple did have an argument, but he doesn't believe she could walk out on the family."She's a wonderful mother and would never leave the kids," Chris Dubois said.He checked the park and nearby lake where the family spends time, but there were no signs of his wife.

Where are we getting that he had the day off? It's not mentioned.

Perhaps he works second shift? We just don't have enough details.

That they had an argument concerns me.

"You never do know," said Jim Solomons of the Orange County Sheriff's Office. "Chances are she's fine and doesn't want to be found; in other words, she's an adult and walked out of the house."
Investigators said there are no obvious sign of foul play, but they aren't taking any chances. They've entered Michelle's information into the missing persons database and are distributing fliers to help find her.

    Not another argument...
I've lost count of the "we had an argument and she walked out without her keys, phone, etc..."
    Just my opinion, of course.

Oh no, not again! Another wife goes missing and leaves all her important belonging behind? Laci, Susan...just to name a few.

Is it safe to assume that she didn't leave in a vehicle (on her own anyway).

I'd like to know more about the argument -- seems the husband is playing that down.

Has LE brought the dogs out yet?

    IMHO
