Oh no, Another: The ex is the LAST person to have seen her. Gee WHIZ!

Looks like there was an hour and a half window when she disappeared:

Shelley Mook was last seen about 3 p.m. Monday, Detective Sgt. Brian Crews said.

"She had been living in Shelbyville and just moved to Murfreesboro over the weekend," Crews said. "She has an ex-husband that lives in Bedford County. As far as we can tell, he is the last person to see her when she went to his house to drop off their daughter," Crews said. "She was supposed to meet a maintenance man at her new apartment on Monday afternoon at 4:30 but, according to the landlord. she never showed up."

I wonder what the ex has to say about their last interaction. Was it a volatile relationship? This sounds bad but I sure hope I'm wrong.

It's big news here in Nashville and it looks very bad. I don't think there will be a good resolution to this one...unfortunately...:(

This does not look good. She is recently divorced, moves to another town, her child is with her ex on Monday and he is the last one to see her.
Her car is found burned. Some news reports say car was found on Monday, but local police did not know til Thursday.

I doubt that she torched her own car.

Hoping there are security cameras at her new home.

"Our agent went out to look at it (Thursday) to see if there was enough left of the car to bring it in to the crime lab for processing, but there was not," said Kristin Helm, public information officer for the TBI.

Does anyone have info on the husband? How long they were married, did they meet in PA or TN? I think his name may be Jeff? Her maiden name is Jones.

"Boyce said the department has spoken with Mook's ex-husband, Tyler Mook.
Asked if he was a person of interest, Boyce said: "Everybody is a person of interest until we find her."

Interesting ...
Detectives with the Bedford County Sheriff's Department have recovered a pricey piece of farm equipment stolen more than a year ago and have arrested the man they claim is responsible.

28-year-old Tyler Augustus Mook of Old Nashville Dirt Road was taken into custody Tuesday and charged with theft of property over $1,000 and alteration of serial numbers. He is currently free on $20,000 bond.
