Canada - Fred Skelton Was Trying To Help Cops Out With Child Porn
How about that Fred Skelton of Manitoba, Canada? All that child pornography he collected? Well he was gathering it for police of course. Gettahe*louttahere, Fred.
The 78 year old Skelton who was in TV and radio for over 30 years had child pornography showing babies being sexually assaulted by adults. First off he found this how? Secondly that lie fell through when his computer was dissected and showed he emassed the pornography as far back as 1998. Really now Fred.
Sadly the elderly man won't be seeing much jail time if any which leaves him free to seel his oil paintings online as well as his sculptures. Dude, ya should have kept your mind on your art.
Oh now he's admitted he did this all in the name of alcohol. He did show up at his PO rip roaring drunk and starting a a scene.

It's not much but it is something. The "research" (of the child porn sort) has come to an abrupt end:
Manitoba's oldest child-porn collector headed to jail
"The oldest child pornography collector ever caught in Manitoba is heading to jail. Fred Skelton, 78, was led out of court in handcuffs Wednesday after provincial court Judge Sid Lerner took the rare step of overruling a joint recommendation to keep him in the community. Crown and defence lawyers were both seeking a conditional sentence for Skelton, who was caught with nearly 4,500 graphic images of children as young as one year old being sexually abused by adults. The resident of Roseisle, Man., was arrested in 2007 after employees at a computer-repair shop in Morden, Man., discovered some of the images.
Lerner said the only way to send a message of denunciation and deterrence is to put child pornography collectors like Skelton behind bars. He gave him a four-month period of custody, saying it would be much higher if not for the man's advanced age and poor health. He also imposed three years of supervised probation...."

I'd like to know who testified concerning the "advanced age (78??) and poor health"? Or did Mr. Skelton merely show up looking old and frail?
If he has such delicate health, why is he still heavily drinking?
We are a skeptical bunch, aren't we?
