these are remains, bones left. they're showing it on ng
the killer left nothing on these women that could identify them, not clothes, shoes, nothing.
he knows what he's doing. it's likely he is keeping souveniors.

they have a 9th body, they are waiting on confirmation.

the killer likely is going to have a very high body count

I thought college got out later than the beginning of May, but again there are always exceptions and the 4 identified victims were June, July and September.

Also, the first identified one was 2007. So if that was his first one and college is the reason he's there... he was probably in the area in July of 2007, to get ready for college. So this year would be 4 years he has been there. I wouldn't be surprised if they stopped after this summer if he's a college student.
I was thinking he is a local and away at school/college except for the summer months. Just pure speculation.

Thanks for verifying that, chemcopout. This makes me feel that the guy is someone local. And/or attached to the fishing industry....

Studying medicine like the Craigslist killer--maybe working summers as a fisherman? You never know.
For some reason I don't see him as being really young, but who knows.

It's possible, but he feels like an older person to me. Maybe quite old.

I think he owns or works in some kind of tourist season business -- possibly a restaurant, which would give him access to used clam bags. Though in that part of the island, that kind of bag is probably easy to come by.

Can one of the locals tell me, are there any casinos on LI?
Opinions expressed are strictly my own (who else would they belong to???)

You don't have to be young to be a student. Ted Bundy was practically a career student.

No casinos but I believe there's a gambling ship that runs out of Freeport, LI.

it's gotta be someone local or at least a summer person who is very familiar with the area.
there's 9 bodies there; someone has to be extremely comfortable with this area, the killer has to feel "safe" enough to dump the bodies like he does. it's almost systemic the way he dumps the victims, in a row.

it seems the condition of the remains are bones, they're expecting to find a lot more.

the killer is organized, he's taking everything off (jewelry everything that could make an id easy for le).
the killer does so much in taking every off the girls yet does nothing to really hide the bodies, he dumps them feet off from the roadway.

i am guessing that he is removing all the girls items (just putting them nude into burlap) so that he doesn't leave any type of evidence behind on the girls.
it's possible he might have some type of record in the past, maybe have fingerprints on file.

it just seems odd to go through all the trouble of taking identifiers off these girls, yet then go dump then a few feet from the roadway.

the killer doesn't go through much trouble ridding of the bodies.
yet he goes through trouble taking off their clothes, jewelry, and making sure none of their personal affects is on them.

if someone wanted to rid of bodies so they wouldn't be found, they'd have dumped them out into the atlantic, or buried parts scattered deep in different woods or mountains.

maybe he wanted the bodies to found so people can know of his "work". yet why go through all the trouble of taking earrings out and everything, yet not hide the bodies?

he wants to rid of any evidence to connect him to the bodies, any dna, fibers, that he may have left on the victims.
yet he has to know that dna will help identify the victims. he just makes sure they that nothing is left on the victims that would be connected to him.

If the guy is a Fisherman why not use the Ocean? He doesn't have his own Boat? Lives with his Parents or Wife but still has a space of his own at times for privacy.

The fact that they are finding so many bodies means to me that he is local, well-acquainted with the area, has a reason to be there other than the murders, knows exactly when the roads are dark and deserted, isn't under suspician for anything else, and is probably convinced he will never be caught.

All these missing people - there has to be some link in the past that ties them together. Or he has a job that lets him drive around and choose randomly by appearance.

I don't see him as old, though. He'd have to be strong enough to carry a body in a burlap bag. Maybe in his 40s at the oldest?
