Thanks Cam. It looks like this location is a little more than an hour from Green Ln.

I wish they would tell us if it is a small child or an adult.

It is one of a small number of rivers in the United States to run north.

The house on Mandarin is fairly close to the river, but not close enough that a skull could just wash on up into the yard unless there had been major flooding in the area. It's an easy area to access by boat, though, with a lot of piers nearby on the riverfront. I dunno. We'll just have to wait and see.

    From the link http://www.news4jax.com/news/27204905/detail.html

Channel 4 learned that workers at the home discovered the skull in a hole in the ground. The article says "other bones" were found also.

Do we know whose house it is, who lives there or the owner of the property?

Reading that Police are treating a Mandarin home as an archaeological scene after bones were found there Monday is an indication to me the find is not the remains of Haleigh Cummings...JMHO
"It's been clear from day one that the contradicting statements from the family members are not the truth," said Capt. Johnny Greenwood, spokesman for the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.

If the skull and bones were found in the ground it seems to me they were buried.
Not sure how they could float down the river and be in the ground if they were Haleigh's.

    JMO

But it will be an interesting thing to follow.

I hope a family gets some sort of closure from this find.
