VA - Linda Archer, 62, Woodbridge, 11 Oct 2004
A Prince William Police Search and Rescue operation discovered skeletal remains in the area. The remains were sent to the Virginia State Lab for a DNA comparison against DNA profiles of Archer's possible relatives.
Now police report that the DNA analysis resulted in a match for Linda Archer from a relative. Police are continuing the investigation into a cause of death.

From August 2013:
Linda Mae Archer... was last seen at the Elm Farm trailer park in the county. Detectives didn't find any evidence of foul play or any reason to classify Archer's disappearance suspicious...
Monday, police released a photo of Archer again and described her as "a white female, 5'06", 85 lbs, [with] black hair and blue eyes" in hopes someone might know something about the crime.
Detectives in Prince William County are looking for new leads in a 10-year-old case...
Her skeletal remains were found in a vacant lot near the Prince William Parkway and Minnieville Road May 14, 2010. She died of blunt force trauma.
