Napier has pleaded not guilty in the July 2009 beating death of 4-year-old Nathaniel Knox. Nathaniels mother, Jessica Noble, already has pleaded guilty and is expected to be the key prosecution witness at Napiers trial.
Napiers attorneys have asked that Nobles psychiatric, medical and social services records pertaining to her children be allowed during the trial in order to impeach her testimony.
