FL Police arrest Zoo volunteer after reports of inappropriate contact with a minor
I feel really bad for the victim, and this is the only case I think I will ever have a little sympathy for someone who touches a child or commits a violent crime..<modsnip>

I am with mannip...
the comments state that he may have had some mental deficits as well as the disfigurment... now we all know special needs children and adults are much more likely to be abused than the normal population. Maybe this man had been abused (we do not know if he functioned on an 8 yr old level or a 21 year old level), acted out the abuse on another like sexually abused children are prone to do.....
what he did was horrible I do think that this man in particular would benefit from therapy in an adult residential center that he cannot leave, rather than being thrown in jail, if the comment is true that he had some mental deficits.

"but intelligence of patients with TCS is usually normal"
So maybe the commenter is wrong...

While I understand the perp. had a disfigured face I don't think that should take away from the crime that was committed. From the info I understand that he might have some mental issues then that should also be evulated before he is convicted.
