On Tuesday, Sutton said, she got a call from someone the family knows saying that Davis had been fatally shot and dumped in an abandoned house.
"He said, 'Kendrya has been shot and killed and left in an abandoned house in the North Nashville area,'" Sutton said. "I don't know what to believe. I just want to find my daughter, even if something has happened."

A family is searching for a missing Nashville teenager. Their search for Kendrya Davis, 18, started Thursday at an abandoned home on Herman Street and 25th Street in North Nashville. They chose that location because the family says police received a tip that Davis was shot and killed, and her body was in the house, but the family did not find anything.
 
The downtown MTA bus station is in a really rough part of town. I won't go anywhere near that part of town. But, it sounds more targeted. She apparently had gone with her boyfriend to the bus station to meet his baby mamma, who is a known gang member. It doesn't sound like this is going to end well for Kendrya...:(
