A daycare worker who took cell phone photos of children's genitalia at the preschool where he worked was sentenced to six years in prison today.
Jeffrey Joseph, 26, pleaded guilty last week to seven charges -- including charges of making child *advertiser censored* and sexual interference.
Ontario Court Justice John Skowronski agreed with the Crown's sentencing submission, but also said Joseph's year in pre-plea custody could be given an enhanced 1.5 to one credit.
Joseph has 4 1/2 years to serve.
Joseph was working at the now-closed Wellington Street Preschool when he took the 10 photos on his cell phone, then deleted them.
Skowronski told Joseph he believed him when Joseph told the court he wanted treatment for his pedophilia.
"I truly believe you want to be rehabilitated," the judge said.
"I wish you good luck on that long journey."
