Bobby and Sherilynn Jamison along with their 6-year-old daughter Madyson haven't been seen since October 8.

"Their truck was found in rural Latimer County. Inside were the family's cell phones, coats, ID's and a substantial amount of money.

The family's dog was also inside, barely alive."

WILBURTON — The Sans Bois Mountain range holds many secrets, from Prohibition-era stills to Indian Territory legends of cave-dwelling outlaws. A recent mystery centers on the dark and bewildering disappearance of a Eufaula couple, who told their minister they were being haunted by demons and spirits.

Midwest City - Help in finding a missing Eufaula family is coming from more than 100 miles west of where they were lost.

In October 2009, the Jamison family - Bobby, Sherilynn and their 6-year-old daughter Madyson - disappeared somewhere in the hills of Latimer County. Investigators found their pickup truck on private land close to Panola Mountain near Red Oak.

Now, an Oklahoma restaurant group is organizing a Flapjack Fundraiser to raise money that will assist with more searching.

Finally some news on this case. Thank goodness for the restaurant raising money for more searching. Where could this family be?

On October 17, 2009, Bobby and Sherilyn Jamison's truck is found abandoned on a dirt road in Oklahoma's remote San Bois Mountains. They and their 6-year-old daughter Madyson are nowhere to be found. Along with the Jamisons' coats, wallets, GPS device, and cell phones, investigators find the family dog in the truck, barely clinging to life. They are stunned to discover a bank bag hidden in the truck that contains $32,000 in cash.

Happy birthday wfg! Hope you are celebrating with, umm, a toast to..the Latimer County SO?

Ok, so folks. Seriously. Am I the only one that finds this series of events... coincidental?

ETA: didn't Blackwater re (re)name themselves Xe? I thought there was so much controversy surrounding their name that they decided to change it.... curious about who Beauchamp is contracting with overseas?

Yes, they did change their name. I stumbled on it while researching "XX".

Yeah- I know a couple folks who were working with them when that went down...

And you know I was going back through some older posts, that were brought here from topix; and this caught my eye:

"MBA: I'm Sherilyn's Mother and I'm sorry that you are so negative. Bob Sr. had a lot of problems. You are right, greed is a high factor and i know it.
Bob Sr. would never harm Madyson. That is his only Grand-Child and only heir. Read court doc. She is worth alot. You need to turn your thoughts to good ole Uncle Jack Jamison and Billy Mangum, Sherilyn,s X. They actually know each other, they actually have the same Attorney. I don't care for where Uncle Jack lives. I need as many people as posible to help find out what happened. I have a small family and have lost another daughter due to a bee sting.(Sept. 27, 2007 I' ve had enough."

I am pondering a lot of things right now.

Happy Birthday Wfgodot.

I have nothing to add right now.

Tattoo's do they tell a story?

Thank you for the happy!

Every picture tells a story, if we can believe the old Rod Stewart song of yore.

So, whose tattoos are we speaking of?

When I was working as a waitress not long ago( ok 2010 or 09 ) some Oklahoma LE peeps came in and all of them had tats much like the sheriffs or the old sheriff. Oriah's post reminded me how different LE in OK appears than in my state (VA). 4 I noticed had the tats. Armbands and other non le type of tats (IMO) The other ones I couldnt pay attention to as they were not in my section. They were in the OK cars. I live near Quantico so we always have some type of stuff with out of state LE officers but the OK guys stuck with me well because of WS.

See the thing I've been wondering about is the timeline; of being in the military, 'retiring' from the military, 'working overseas' and now 'resigning to work overseas.' And see, the military really didn't allow visable tattoos for a period of time, and then they changed that policy a bit. But the time frame and his age don't fit.

And why are both IB and TB resigning at the same time?

Oriah, by "TB", do you mean the sheriff's wife? If so, I have no idea. It could be a family thing.
