Officers unearthed bones in the back yard of a home on Church Street whose prior resident hadn't been seen in over a year, The Valdosta Daily Times reported Saturday.

Police in Clayton County were conducting an investigation when an individual gave them information that there might be a body at 405 Church Street in Valdosta, Childress said.

The house’s previous resident has not been seen in more than a year, Childress said.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution says a suicide note found in the living room of a Riverdale apartment Friday tipped police to a possible body buried in Valdosta.

Sounds like LE knows who the UID is, I just havent found any MSM indicating anything regarding an ID yet.

In the suicide note, police said he revealed to his mother the location of a corpse at a home where he once lived with his girlfriend and grandfather.

Identified as former resident in the address, John Jordan, 68.

John Hendrell Chambers of the Atlanta area has been charged with Felony Murder for the death of Mr. Jordan.
