Forty-six year old Rebecca and 34-year old Russell were last seen Sunday evening. The family believes the disappearance is 'suspicious' in nature, considering security cameras inside and outside the house were damaged and destroyed. The house also smelled like bleach, according to relatives.

"I think they got abducted, kidnapped, or something because her property's in there, her purse and phone. The doors were wide open and that's just not our baby sister," explained Darrel Hufft, Rebecca's brother.

Through Tuesday, investigators searched the couple's house on Highway HH and surrounding properties. They combed through a vehicle and a dumpster, gathering clues.

As deputies expand their search, worried loved ones are broadening their own efforts. They'll soon begin posting missing-persons fliers across the Ozarks.

Cameras inside AND outside the home were damaged? I can see maybe having camras outside, but inside the home? whats that about?

According to Missouri Casenet, Mr Russell was served an order of protection on 4/7. Several other entries as well ranging from possession of controlled substance to domestic assault (last year, 7 year SIS, 5 years probation).

Doesn't bode well for Mrs. Russell.

I don't find this too unusual as I have cameras inside and outside my house. I initially got the one in my living room to focus on my electronics because my house has been broken into 3 times since I have lived there (18 years). As I suspected that it was related to kin of my next door neighbors, I added the outside cameras so I could keep an eye on anyone entering my yard.

So it may not mean anything...

One Missing Link Organization Helping Out

Now, family of the Porters have teamed up with Janis McCall and the organization "One Missing Link" to get the word out about the disappearance.

McCall is the mother of Stacey McCall who went missing nearly two decades ago.

The group began distributing fliers and hanging up missing-person posters notifying the public of the disappearance..

"They don't know which way to go, so we're telling them where to search, where to put up the fliers," McCall says. "To not put them outside because they're just going to get rained on, I understand. So we put them inside buildings. So inside restaurants, hotels and things like that."

"People also are baffled because his sister-in-law's Mustang left behind the house with the keys in the ignition is the couple's sole transportation, he said."

~~snip~~

While his sister-in-law worked at Fantastic Caverns, "Rusty" Porter was disabled and spent a lot of time at the computer, Mike Porter said.

Relatives said Russell Porter, 34, and Rebecca Porter, 46, have been married for less than one year.

Investigators Bring in Canines to Help Search

amily and friends remain committed to finding a couple missing since Sunday night.
Russell and Rebecca Porter went missing from their home east of Willard. The Greene County Sheriff's Office continues to search the property surrounding their house; Thursday it was with the help of canines.

A bloodhound could be seen circling the 120 acre Greene County farm, searching for any scent that could lead investigators to the missing couple. "The last time I saw my cousin, he was sitting on that porch with his laptop in his hands," says Tim Campbell, Rusty Porter's cousin and neighbor.

---
[Sheriff] Arnott released a statement late Friday afternoon that said detectives had collected more than 200 potential pieces of evidence at the Porter's home in the 6700 block of North Highway HH east of Willard. His statement did not elaborate on the kinds of evidence collected.
---
Arnott had scheduled a news conference Thursday afternoon, then canceled it. It has not been rescheduled.

Sounds like a real life Winter's Bone.

With bleach being in the house and all, this sounds really serious.

I guess it is possible that they are being held in some type of ransom, but probably doubtful with the information that is available.

210 PIECES OF EVIDENCE. I guess the bleach didn't take away all signs of abduction/murder.
