Mr TT
Her then husband smoked Reds and had also made the flurry of phone calls using a calling card and thus blocking the caller ID. When asked for the phone records he said Nikki didn't like the service. Phil would frequently take her cell phone from her. As he had the week prior to her murder. The phone was still in service after her death. So the husband has no viable alibi. The police only need to look at the phone records. No investigation, no arrests - 9 years.
If you go read the Real Crimes posts with photos you'll see she had the phone under her left leg. Phil actually confessed to tampering with the evidence he wrote to the police telling them he moved the phone among other things.
This is a true travesty of justice.
Very good questions Mr TT. I think it was bad police work and the fact that the lead prosecutor was a child molester who got 40+ years. He took polaroids which in my opinion where sexual. Bad police work.Is this case still stamped by LE as being closed?
And DC never changed from suicide as cause of death?
I to am trying to understand why there has been no investigation
after being ruled a suicide.
What is it you need??
To reopen this case??
What information do you seek??

I don't know if we can get it changed, if any case needs to be it's this one. This would make one heck of a 20/20 or Dateline.
We seek a reopening of the case, a changing of the death certificate to murder and a real investigation. There are lots of interviews and I think a statement analyst would have a field day with some of them.
Well, I am not sure how to do this.
But it seems you may have to get her exhumed.
Have an autopsy performed
The ME then can change the DC from suicide to homicide.
Then you can have your investigation.
DA wont touch the case as it stands now.
Nothing for the Grand Jury to look at.
We need that autopsy!!!!
She was exhumed in New York. They could not change the MS death. But the forensic pathologist said it wasn't suicide. There was a strange brush mark on the side of her face,
More shocking news all the photos taken were taken by lead det Tom Pustay with a Polaroid. Including one of her naked genital area. He said it was to show the imprint of the gun. Det Pustay was later sent away for molesting 9 yr old girl. How many police dept. use polaroids?
The mother has written everyone. Well we're writing again - this is a case of someone getting away with murder.
Also the fact that Phil trusted Nancy is scary in and of its self. Have her phone records ever been checked? What made her 'change her mind' about checking on her friend after traveling two blocks? Did she know that Nikki was with a male friend that afternoon? Did she tell Phil where Nikki had been? Too much evidence points away from suicide, to be ignored. Good point about the conversation, calling Nikki 'the girl'. Very impersonal and when I first read that, felt the need to re read it.
Where is her son now? Who is the Mother of Phils other son? Where is she now and has he ever been violent against her?

If you have not tried.
I recommend we flood the Senators office
with phone-calls emails etc.
There are numbers at the link above down in the right
hand corner of the website.
Including a fax-number you can use
to fax him copies of the information with photos
you posted here, or anything else you like to send.
There is at least one more senator from MISS.
But i have not looked for them.
He may have the influence and connections
necessary to get this reopened as a Homicide.
Which it is.
At the following link is from March 1 1951.
A case you may find interesting.
It involves the US attorney Office.
I also recommend you read the link below.
And make some phone calls
and or emails etc.

Just a suggestion nothing more.
But i would call/fax/email the senator first.
And let it be known as you do.
You are notifying his office First! Before you call
the US Attorneys office!
It would be as if your following a chain of command.
And will let him know, this issue will not be stopping until all options
have been exhausted. Including to the top!
US ATTORNEY GENERAL OFFICE
