Bus drivers qualify as "helping professionals" to me. Those of us who have children who cannot yet drive and/or might never drive, depend of these folks. Shame on this man. Are we supposed to believe that he's been driving for 30 years and this is first time this crime happened?

TriMet driver charged with sexual abuse of 15-year-old girl for more than a year

"A veteran TriMet bus driver with nearly 30 years of service was arrested Tuesday and charged with sexual abuse of a 15-year-old girl for more than a year.

Christopher Parker, 53, of Southeast Portland was booked into the Multnomah County Jail. He is accused of third-degree sexual abuse, online sexual corruption of a child and five counts of violating a stalking order...."

"...questions arose about Parker's behavior more than six weeks ago when a supervisor saw that while behind the wheel of a bus, Parker allowed a passenger to ride without a destination, and he drove off his route without notification...."
