Police said Blackmon left her 3-month-old baby at the park earlier in the day. The child was found by a group of women who called police.

Baby is said to be in care of Child Protective Svcs. and is doing okay.

Such an adorable baby, but I have to give the mother some slack - she left the child in the park - she did not kill it. Sometimes it is hard to know the ins and outs of why people do what they do. The child is alive, hopefully going on to a better life. I believe the mom may have done the best she could under whatever circumstances she was dealing with.

The baby is alive - PRAISE THE LORD.
 
Don't cut her too much slack Trident, according to this article she was drunk and punched the baby in the face before leaving her! Also, I live in the suburbs of Detroit & Highland Park aint no place to be leaving anything....NOT a good area AT ALL! This article also states that she has a 4 year old & was already being investigated by child services for neglect. Yep, another piece of trash mother.

i saw the baby pic and then read about the tequila and the punch to the nose/? to an infant/? REALLY?!?!?!?????????????????
