He is an insulin dependent diabetic, and his father, Mustapha fears his son's health is in grave danger.
Mustapha Khadar says, "He takes insulin like 2 to 3 times a day, so he left everything behind in the fridge."
The twenty-seven year old college student disappeared from his Brentwood, Maryland home after returning from his classes at Strayer University.
His 1999 maroon Ford Escort is missing too.

Khadar, a Cumberland Valley High School graduate, has been missing for the past two weeks. He was last seen April 26, when he drove away from his Brentwood, Md., home about a month before he was set to graduate from Strayer University near Baltimore.
Khadar's family and friends are holding a 6:30 p.m. candlelight vigil today — his 28th birthday — at Reservoir Park in Harrisburg. Another prayer gathering will be held at his Brentwood home on Saturday.

Authorities, though, say they can't confirm that. PGPD spokesperson Corporal Mike Rodriguez says a body was found in a Laurel County swamp on Sunday, but officials haven't been able to positively identify the body as Khadar's. "We can't scientifically say it's him," says Rodriguez.

While LE wants to OFFICIALLY id this young man, his dad has seen the body and identifies a specific tatoo he had.
Asked about the police department's doubts, Zainab Khadar explains that the family knows the corpse is Ali Khadar. Her father went to see it and was able to spot a distinctive tattoo his son has of a diabetic shield. But police, she says, insist on identifying him through his dental records. She believes her brother's death was foul play.

A young man gone too soon. :'(
My thoughts and sympathies are with Ali's family and friends.
Rest in peace, Ali.
Any man's death diminishes me,
Because I am involved in mankind,
Therefore, send not to know, for whom the bell tolls;
It tolls for thee.
