SC - Dillon Co., Decomposed remains in creek, May'11 - Archie Hunt

The remains are so badly decomposed that investigators cannot determine a race or gender, but they appear to belong to an adult, Dillon County Sheriff’s Capt. Cliff Arnette said.

    ...

A fisherman discovered the remains in a creek running from the Little Pee Dee River near South of the Border about 4:15 p.m. Wednesday [11-May-11], Arnette said.

Not far from Myrtle Beach, but it's a bit north of where they believe Brittany Drexel to have met foul play.

This is my area. I am waiting to hear more. I really don't see Brittany Drexel being brought here. But the area is generally near I95. I am trying to find a page that use to show the persons missing in Dillon County.
Whatever I say...It's only my opinion.

The remains found Wednesday along State Line Road near Hamer appear to be those of a man, Dillon County Coroner Donnie Grimsley said.

"They're working on the pathology report right now. We know the body is a male, but we don't know anything else yet. We don't have a name and we don't know whether he was black, white, Hispanic. We just don't know yet," Grimsley said.

An autopsy is being performed at the Medical University of South Carolina, and officials hope the final report will provide more information about the remains found near Hamer on Wednesday afternoon.
