Rebecca Cassidy's neighbors on 4th Street in Shelbyville say they were used to seeing her walking outside nearly every day because her daily routine did not include a car of her own. That routine came to an end two and a half weeks ago.
Lt. Michael Turner, public information office for SPD, said there have been no developments in Cassidys case. Since her disappearance was announced, police and family members have taken fliers about her to local businesses.
Turner said detectives are doing everything they can to find her.

Even when Rebecca Cassidy left home or got a ride with someone, Carolyn Pike says she never seemed to be gone for long periods of time.
"It's awful. It's really awful," Carolyn Pike said. "It kind of gets to me because she's a good kid."
