MA - formr k-9 officer gets 18 months for starving dog to death

NOT NEAR long enough.. but better than nothing i guess......
It was his persona pet he starved to death, not a police dog

Antonio Carneiro apparently did not abuse the dog he was assigned to as an officer for the Boston transit police. But his own dog, Nitro, wasn't so lucky.

The six-year-old Belgian Malinois weighed only 25 pounds when he was found two years ago in a cage at Carneiro's home in Rochester, Ma., police said.

If they feed him a cup of Old Roy each week, and nothing else, it would be a fair sentence.

Fact is animal abuse is the same as traffic tickets. Torture/maime/kill and get a ticket. Proves humans are superior, the fact that animal abuse goes unpunished. Tis fact.
