I would think under "normal" circumstances, a person who left their car sitting in a parking lot would WANT to check later to see if it was still there--especially if someone else was supposed to fix it. Apparently, KC gave this bogus story to TL, then went on about her merry way, never following up to see if GA had picked the car up.
Even if the DT story were true, why would KC have to lie about the car? So she could dump it somewhere hoping it would get stolen or towed and junked.

I had to leave my car in a parking lot once because it broke down at night. First thing the next morning, I went to check on my car to make sure it was still there and didn't get broken into. Then I went and got the battery to replace in it.

So yeh, I agree, I think one would check on it.

CS saw a blanket in the car. What blanket? Has anyone heard about the blanket before? Did CA take the blanket out of the car? Again, what blanket?

This woman sounded so nervous and shaky voiced, I felt badly for her. I'm not sure what she established other than the time line (which I know is important) and that there was not a smell coming from it.

To be perfectly honest I'm not sure about the real timeline enough to know when a scent should have appeared, but this was right before towing, so it should have been there then I would think.

IMO, she was enamored of JB. I am not going to say it is because he is Hispanic, but it was obvious that she lit up when he approached the podium...

This may be the blanket that Cindy said was kept in the trunk, in the blue crate, along with misc. items. IIRC we determined in an earlier thread that this blanket was red and black. It was speculated that it may have been the source of wool fibers found on the duct tape. Forgive me if I have my facts wrong -- this was quite a while ago. I don't believe that this blanket was ever found, and it appears that the blanket CS saw disappeared. Cindy never mentioned taking it out of the car, but that is the only logical reason it would be missing. Does anyone remember more specifics about this blanket? Perhaps we need to bump an old thread or start a new one?
