In 1968 Rice confessed to killing 9 year old Keith Henry in Kitchener Ontario Canada in 1963.

This man was a stuttering drifter. He liked trains and traveled around from Canada to Fla. Killing. He was declared sane by the courts. He was a pediphile.

He probably killed more little boys than he was convicted of killing. Take a look at the articles and check out other missing or murdered boys from the 60's.

Wondering if Stanley Everett Rice, is suspected of murdering any females too?

From what I've read about him thus far, I doubt it. It seems like he was just interested in little boys (i.e homosexual pedophile). He'd killed several boys and they found him with "little boy" *advertiser censored*. He even talks about his frustration when they didn't pose like he wanted them to.

There are several killers (i.e. Chikatilo) who targeted children in general and didn't care if they were boys or girls. Rice seemed to stick with obsessing over little boys.

Here's a nice biography of him that I don't think has been posted yet...

Serial Killers Anonymous: Stanley Everett Rice, 1963-1968
Historical Crime Detective (4/14/2017)
Known as the “stuttering drifter,” Stanley Everett Rice was a pedophile and serial killer who murdered three to five young boys between 1963 and 1968. He is also known to have photographed and molested countless others.

On Mother’s Day, May 12, 1968, Rice used a sawed-off shotgun and curved knife to murder an eleven-year-old boy and wound the boy’s friend near a pond adjacent to a canal in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Rice was arrested thirteen days later for traffic violations by Broward County deputies. Deputies noted his stutter and similarity to a police artist sketch of the shooter in the Mother’s Day killing. After he was brought in for questioning, Rice eventually told police he had killed four other boys in Ohio and Ontario, Canada.
Rice’s modus operandi was to scout area swimming and fishing holes (riverbanks, canals, ponds, and lakes), where he would seek out young boys, engage them in conversation, isolate them under false pretense, and then use a firearm to force them to strip naked, pose for photographs, and perform sexual acts. Along with a concealed firearm, Rice always carried a camera to document his twisted fantasies.
Although it would take two more years before Trask’s killer identified himself, Rice described the boy’s murder in his diary in gruesome detail.

“Scores again as I met a 8 year old boy fishing…finally conned him into trying a new fishing spot. I was there about an hour but failed to con him into the usual style pose. Had to settle for a shirtless photo, but got more interesting poses after a .32 in the back put him in a more suggestive mood.”

That website has some interesting things on it and I hadn't seen it before. I found it while looking up a semi-local murder from long ago (Gates-Heaton case) from Louisville.

I'm kind of surprised that I hadn't heard about Rice before. I came across him while looking around the aforementioned website. I guess that, since there's been so countless many of them throughout history, you can discover a new sicko every day.

I realize I have only been a member for a short time but the more I read these forums - you know what would come in really handy?

Is a list (regularly updated) of these transients who some to Florida every year to commit vicious crimes.

I use the word transients because they are NOT "snowbirds."

Just a thought.

Here's a link to geographic profiles (male murderers) on Murderpedia. You can look killers up alphabetically at the top of the page (top line male killers, bottom line female killers). You can check out the killers from the US by state near the bottom of the page. Travelling killers may be in the "Various States" list. Otherwise, you could click on Florida or surrounding states for a list of those.

People listed there are generally verified murderers, not necessarily even suspects or mere vagrants. But there are a few suspected murderers listed. Or those that were accused of murder that were found to not have been an actual killer. They usually have a "?" somewhere in the "number of victims" part.
